Container self-dumping semi-trailers mainly consist of a container semi-trailer and a hydraulic lifting device. Power can come from the tractor's power take-off (PTO) or the trailer's own engine. They are primarily used for handling and unloading bulk cargo containers (such as coal and iron ore) in ports to improve unloading efficiency. To adapt to standard load transportation, lightweight self-dumping semi-trailers adopt a front-top, rear-unloading method to reduce structural weight. The box body uses a frame combined with corrugated board structure to enhance strength. The lifting mechanism uses a front-mounted single-top hydraulic cylinder with a lifting balance bracket and a widened four-hinged joint design to improve lifting stability. The frame uses high-strength steel and optimized crossbeam design to reduce weight, while extensive use of aluminum alloy components further reduces weight. Some models use ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW) as the inner lining of the cargo box to reduce cargo residue and speed up unloading.
Unloading Efficiency and Operating Procedures: Intelligent self-dumping models can complete unloading within 40-50 seconds. Optimized cargo box slope design allows materials to slide down quickly under gravity, with a residue rate approaching zero. When unloading, ensure that the cargo is loaded in a balanced manner, avoiding it being too far forward, too far back, or too far to the left or right. Check that the unloading site is level. Before lifting, be sure to open the rear door locking device. In low-temperature environments, pay attention to whether the cargo is frozen to prevent it from tipping over.
