Uses Of Semi-trailers

Jul 01, 2026

Semi-trailers are primarily used for transporting large, bulky goods that are difficult to disassemble, such as excavators. Fence-type semi-trailers are suitable for transporting perishable goods, such as vegetables and fruits. Box-type semi-trailers are better suited for transporting loose cargo and valuable, moisture-proof items.

Dump semi-trailers are suitable for transporting bulk, loose cargo such as coal, ore, and building materials. Dump semi-trailers can be divided into two main categories according to their use: one category consists of heavy-duty and super-heavy-duty dump trailers for off-road transport, mainly undertaking large-scale mining and engineering transport tasks, and usually used in conjunction with excavators. The other category consists of light- and medium-duty ordinary dump trailers for on-road transport, mainly undertaking the transport of loose cargo such as sand, soil, and coal, and usually used in conjunction with loaders. 1. The cargo box adopts side-tipping and rear-tipping self-unloading methods, which can effectively improve the transport efficiency of bulk, loose cargo by loading and unloading machines. 2. The frame and longitudinal beams of the cargo box are welded from high-quality manganese plates. The cargo box is available in both scoop and rectangular shapes. It features high strength, strong lifting capacity, good rigidity and toughness, strong load-bearing capacity, and no permanent deformation. 3. Excellent craftsmanship: The main components are processed using advanced equipment. The longitudinal beams are made by fully automatic submerged arc welding, and the wheel axles and leaf springs are precisely assembled using assembly machines.
